Love Is "The Heart of the Matter"
Love Is "The Heart of the Matter"Love Is "The Heart of the Matter" By Mary Woods Love one another. All the world religions teach it, everyone wants and needs it, and it is the simple answer to almost any question. Love is not outside us, though we can block our awareness of It. Love remains the Truth of our Being, regardless of our relentless attempts to let fear stand in Its way. Love patiently calls to us from within, to get out of the way and let It be our Guide. Love has depth. It cannot be defined due to Its limitless nature, yet it is in how we define it, that gives our life meaning. Love is expressed personally to the special relationships in our lives, as well as impersonally, to the Universal Love that connects us all as one. In the microcosm, we can say, "I love popcorn" and in the macrocosm, we can say "God is Love." Love is both finite and infinite. As a word, love is both a noun and a verb; a person, place, or thing and an action. Love is a state of being, a feeling, an emotion, an energy, a demonstration. We can contemplate love and we can Be It. From the semantics of the word to the experience of It, Love is the True Source of Inspiration for philosophers, poets, and in the heart of every one of us. Love is the heart of the matter. When your heart is full of love and gratitude, it is natural to want to express It to others. The more love you give, the more you receive, and everyone is uplifted in the process. More than just a lofty aspiration, living in love can be a practical application. If love is what we are in truth, then each soul has a unique way for It to manifest through us. We may ask ourselves, "How can I manifest love in my life?" What better purpose in life than to be and to give all the love that we are.
